wow!i'm back from the beautiful land of Bintan (: such amazing sights&sounds.and definitely a beautiful experience as well.I'm gonna try my very best to describe as much details as possible with this entry.So bear with a possible long entry (:
Friday 10th March 2006
Huda&I went to school slightly earlier this day so as not to be late.Big bags and stuff.It was a little bit paiseh walking around and people looking at us.It was the first time that I stood facing the flag pole.The last i remember was for National Day and it was different standing there.We did some admin stuff before heading for our bus.04A1 shared with 04A3.
We arrived at the ferry terminal after a LONG ride there.I guess it was nerve wrecking for me cause i hate going thru the checking of the luggage and passport.It's like i fear being caught or something.When we were walking thru the thing that could detect metal thingy, i walked confidently.It actually beeped.And i thought that it beeped at Nani who was behind me.Then the woman stopped me and checked me all over.And it was my freaking belt.Made me panic for no apparent reason!! (: Then we board the ferry.We took the first row seats and started taking pictures and stuff (: I can't really remember the details of the ferry trip but my migraine didnt give way to sea.whee~The deck upstairs was great!The wind.The sun.The friends.
It took nearly 2 hours to reach Bintan.It was welcoming!!There was banner welcoming us!(: Like superstar for once.-laughs-The first thing that really took me by suprise was the buildings.There was this one building near the terminal which was all nice but a little bit redundant.And it's scary to imagine living in that condition.We walked along the road to our respective buses.While we were walking, it was pretty scary cause the vehicles don't really care whether you are walking or what.They just seem to be passing by without much care if an accident happen.But i guess they were used to it.I was so happy to see that the bus was pleasant looking from the outside.Then i was super shocked when we got on the bus.It was DAMN SMALL!!Even walking in between seats can be such torture.So i sat by myself first.Then Mr Lim Bock Seng sat beside me (: *ahem ahem* It was alright sitting beside him.And no he didn't say sweet nothings to me my dearest friends.When you saw us talking,it was merely school stuff.I promise! *winks* And i look at the mirror reflection,i saw that Mr Lim is smiling.Forever smiling! (: And the side of my seat were friendly ants walking pass.And again, it was scary being in the bus cause it was just passing every vehicle that was slow.And i witnessed the bus just driving pass when the traffic light was clearly RED.Ouhhh SCARY!
The first thing we all did was to have lunch.LUNCH LUNCH!Our table consist of Aishah,Nani,Siti,Huda,Brandon,Shiqin,Mr Fung and I (: The most irritating thing that happened during lunch was that they played this ONE song for a million times.Lunch was good, i enjoyed the food and the company (: After lunch was the beginning of the whole retreat.It was talks for a few hours.I paid attention to some details and couldn't be bothered with some.At least, we were all awake.i didn't sleep!! (: We had our free time and we are going to check into our rooms.I found out that Shiqin Nani Riyah had the villa along with three other classmates.So someone suggested something good!So the whole villa with THREE bedrooms and ONE large living room with kitchen was mine Nani Shiqin Huda Siti Aishah.Upon seeing the villa,we were screaming in happiness! (: whee~ This is the room allocation-Siti&Aishah Huda&I Shiqin&Nani.
We were still taken aback by the beauty of the villa.We were all unpacking our bags to make this stay seem more real.Then suddenly i heard a scream coming from Aishah&Siti's room.Apparently,there was a LARGE cockroach roaming around their room.And the both of them are suckers for insects.So poor Nani had to take charge and sprayed the cockroach to its resting place.Baygon to the rescue!!After the roach died,we played UNO.My migraine was pretty strong but expertly tried to curb it.And the Baygon smells nice until Shiqin made a SUCCESSFUL good joke about it!We had our shower and changed into our dinner attire (: I couldn't really remember what else we did during our free time this day.hmmph!Fill me in girls (:
Dinner was great!MI idol was rocking&EARTH SHATTERING!I am very proud of BELLA&FAUZI!!They truly can sing (: And Geetha if you're reading this,i was SMILING the whole time you were dancing up there.im UBER proud of you baby!!!And the winner was deserving too.04A2!Good job guys!And we did manage to take some pictures with each other.After that, we headed home.We walked home with our body gueards, Mark&Brandon.And was there Kannan&Moses??We hang around our villa for awhile before changing and deciding to pay visit to the guys' villa.The villa consist of Brandon,Mark,Hugh,Moses,Kannan,Fauzi,Aidil,Christopher..I don't know who the other 1 is.But it was funny when we there.Chris made me a glass of water cause i asked for one.Then Aidil went to make coffee & plain water which nobody else drank.I didn't drink either cause it was filling the first glass (: Then we decided to go back since it was pretty late and didn't wanna be caught being in the guys' place.
Going back, we played UNO in my room.Before that,Shiqin was throwing a gentle tantrum cause everyone was like not sure what to do.This one line she had will be remembered by us cause it was so sexy!I can't remember at what time we slept.But we slept pretty early.Sleeping seems like heaven but it was definitely scary.I woke up and the night lamp was switched off.So the room was pretty dark but i can still see!Then right at 545am Bintan time i needed the loo pretty badly.Yes, i was very scared!But i didnt wanna wake Huda up cause i know she would scream at me cause the loo was just 10 steps away.So i quickly went to loo and went back to bed when i heard Huda snoring lightly.630am i woke up the people.Yes,i was made the mother of waking up.-laughs-
Saturday 11th March 2006
A new morning!All of us got ready for breakfast and some activities ahead.I was in Aishah's room telling this weird dream i have.It still seems surreal to me that i dreamt of it.But in another dream i had,i dreamt of Jacky which i already told him.Dreamt that he came to Bintan somehow.-laughs-
After we were ready,we Walked to the lobby which was freaking near.Breakfast was nice!A variety of food and sweet morning drink.We actually still had time between breakfast and the next activity.We started the new activity at the Conference hall.We have a series of activities to complete and to learnt he objectives of it.The 1st one was that we had to squeeze in all of us into one small toilet.We managed to finish it though it took us some time to plan and such.
We made our way to another location far away from the resort.We took a separate vehicle from the others.Fauzi Brandon Ada Aishah Siti Shiqin Huda Nani and I.We were squashed up at the back.Sorry Shiqin cause i know my butt rather humongous and you had little space.-laughs-The second activity was at this beach with beautiful scenario.The tide was at its lowest and we saw little crabs walking along.When the other half of the class arrived,we were given a ball to play with.So we tried dodgeball which didnt really work.Then we tried Captain's Ball.Our team rock!!It was rough playing.And i fell a couple of times cause it was getting all too rough and amazing.I believe the game had it's objectives.Did some reflections then took a class photo with the stranded sampan.Loads of laughing and screaming cause the sampan like anytime can break (:
The journey back to the resort area was more calm a little bit bumpy.The houses were not so sightly.And the school was such a nightmare.I feel for the little children there for they have no chairs and tables for their studying time.And here we are in Singapore taking things for granted.Then we did this Bingo game cum treasure hunt.Pretty nice!!Lunch was next.We practically booked this smaller room for the whole class.It's nice when we have something as a class together.We don't feel any different from each other (: So we have some time before proceeding to the next activity.So the SEVEN of us when back to our villa and chill for alittle while.But somehow we arrived a teeny beeny late la.Half of the class when of to the golf courese already and when we took the mini van, i was fearing that our teacher would scold us.But luckily he didnt.!The golf course activity was pretty dumb,i guess.It made me feel silly!!But it was FUN running around with a spoon and ping pong ball in your mouth.
Fear Factor was one great game.Though we waited like a gazillion years for 04A3 to complete this station,it was still great.And Shiqin and Siti unleashed their baby side and played with the see-saw.When it was our turn to try out the Fear Factor,i was hoping that nothing silly would happen.So when the first group did their activity, it was uber fun watching them being uber silly! (: and when it was our turn,having to eat worms!It definitely turned me off!But part of me like wanted to really taste the real thing.A bit fearful that everyone was afraid and such.So i was asking Huda some things when i was blinded already.And i stood next to Shiqin and held her hand which didn't help cause she was more frightened then i was.So when Huda fed me the 'worms',i was like okay!Thought i could just swallow it like that but i didnt.I chewed once twice,almost puked!Heard Shiqin refusing to eat.At the end of it, i swallowed the freaking thing, took off the blindfold and drank loads of water.It was only noodles with what sauce i dont know! (:
We walked to the swimming pool from there to get further instructions.Again,04A3 was there playing the game.So Mr Ivan Lee gave us instructions which was rather complicated.We have a family consisting of a father, a mother, two daughters and two sons.Along with them are policeman and a thief.It took us a LONG time to decide on how to cross these people to the other side of the pool.At the end of it all, my group cheated.-muahahaha-But this was the bestest and most FUN activity for the day.!!
After debriefing and such,the seven of us stayed at the pool and have a little bit of fun just hanging around there.I won't forget that Nani didn't wanna talk to Ada cause Ada pushed Nani into the pool.-muahahaha-Cold war!!!We took a good ride back home to our villa on the motor-like trishaw!Then we settled in and had our shower.Since we were all still wet and only so little of us could shower at one time,Nani and I sat down watch TV and ate a little bit.Huda was at this point in time dating Mark outside the villa.After quite a while Mark went off, then Huda told me she was gonna shower.And Nani and I decided to hit the shower together.Yes, you got it right TOGETHER!What we do inside is purely up to your imagination!?!-muahahahahahaha-And it took us a very very long time to finish showering.So Huda was like saying that we were the first to enter yet we came out rather late.-muahahahaha-We slacked a little bit at home.And Siti baby made me a glass of coffee.It was uber NICE!!!!DEFINITELY CAN MAKE MORE FOR ME!Then we ran out of creamer and followed Hugh&Fauzi to their villa to get some.And Aishah was actually practising her 2.4km run there.whee~ *WINKS*
Dinner was COOL!Everyone at the table was uber tired and couldnt be bothered with the remains of the programme.So we were snapping pictures away while the instructors were busily talking.And i didnt eat my dinner after the fourth spoon cause i seriously didnt feel well.But when it was the end of the whole programme,i think my migraine subsided.A good sign!!!!So after dumping our stuff at home and doing some other stuff,the 6 of us [brandon nani shiqin aishah siti riyah]went off and left Mark and Huda alone.So nani brandon and i took the motor-like trishaw to the swimming pool first before meeting the other three angels there.We chatted away like nobody's business.And i told them my not-so innocent joke.-muahahaha-I managed to corrupt them a little bit more.-muahahaha-
So after bidding out home tutor good night, we watched him leave to his room.-muahahaha-And we were laughing to ourselves about the brokeback mountain moment.Coolness!So decided to go back since it was late and i told them that we have given the other two at home sufficeint time alone.So brandon nani and i decided to pay geetha a visit.Nice place!Nice stories she told us!Nice company!Definitely wanted to stay longer but then the three of us were yawning away so took that same vehicle back home (: whee~So UNO we played once again.Played till Aishah dropped dead on the bed.So after five rounds or more, we all decided to call it a day.Since we scare the hell outta ourselves with the pictures we took during lunch, aishah siti shiqin riyah and nani slept together.in that very order.Peaceful sleep with no dreams.
Sunday 12th March 2006 [im tired already so shorter details]
The alarm rings once again!Nani and I woke up and took a picture of us while the others sleep on.Shiqin and Nani complained about me sleeping.Somebody commented that i snored?Did i?Then Nani said something about my armpit.aiyoyyo!And Shiqin said i put my hands near her nose till she cant breathe.Im so sorry!Im a bad sleeper.No wonder my sister always complains about me all the time.-muahahaha-
This day we took tons of pictures.First,i asked giorgio if we can take picture with him.kindly, he agreed!Shiqin dont jealous ah!Then took with armani.Then with OUR FAVE MANAGEMENT TEACHER!unfortunately, didnt take with leonardo.
We went to a farm which wasnt truly very meaningful.I guess our minds are already set on shopping.Shop shop shop and shop!That's the primary motive!
Then reached the ferry terminal where we waited for like another gazillion years to board the ferry.And i sang for my Aishah.Those of you who didnt get a chance of your lifetime,please dont hesistate to ask me to sing for you.-muahahaha-Ferry ride was awesome!UNO once again!Shiqin didnt tag team with me lo.She decided to abandon me for aishah.but its okay!!-muahahaha-Then after a while, i got really dizzy.took a pill but it didnt help.So nearing Singapore, i had terrible headache and nearly puked.How i managed to keep it in me, im still amazed by it.Thank you aishah and shiqin for taking care of me.hahahaha.
*So i guess that was it.The end of our Bintan trip where memories can only remain.I still wish that i was there with my friends.Drinking Siti's coffee.Sleeping with my friends.Visiting our friends' houses.Or just teasing each other with every silly thing.

Then reached the ferry terminal where we waited for like another gazillion years to board the ferry.And i sang for my Aishah.Those of you who didnt get a chance of your lifetime,please dont hesistate to ask me to sing for you.-muahahaha-Ferry ride was awesome!UNO once again!Shiqin didnt tag team with me lo.She decided to abandon me for aishah.but its okay!!-muahahaha-Then after a while, i got really dizzy.took a pill but it didnt help.So nearing Singapore, i had terrible headache and nearly puked.How i managed to keep it in me, im still amazed by it.Thank you aishah and shiqin for taking care of me.hahahaha.
*So i guess that was it.The end of our Bintan trip where memories can only remain.I still wish that i was there with my friends.Drinking Siti's coffee.Sleeping with my friends.Visiting our friends' houses.Or just teasing each other with every silly thing.
